The new car is built on the NT2.0 platform. This upgrade is quite interesting.

Like the new NIO ES6, the 2023 NIO ES8 is built on the 2.0 platform, and the overall vehicle shape is relatively burly and domineering. The front of the car looks more concise, adopting a closed front face design with recessed treatment, outlined by the banner-style decorative strips, the effect under light and shadow is more three-dimensional. The lower edge of the door is outlined with a silver trim, and it is also equipped with a hidden door handle. The shape of the wheel hub is relatively dynamic, and the interior is also equipped with red calipers.

The shape of the tail is relatively wide, and the spoiler on the top is matched with the inclined tail window, which is full of three-dimensional effect. The middle of the bottom is equipped with through-type taillights, the interior is blackened, and the rear enclosure is relatively regular.

In terms of interior, the layering of the center console is relatively strong, and the enveloping cockpit layout and delicate materials, I think it is more advanced than many models of the same level. The layout of the vehicle is 2+2+2, but it does not ignore the performance of intelligence. The center console is equipped with a vertical LCD screen, the design of the shift mechanism is rather unique, and the rear is a large wireless charging panel for mobile phones. The shape of the flat-bottomed steering wheel is more atmospheric, and the physical buttons on the top are small and exquisite, with a comfortable touch.

In terms of car and machine, the whole car is equipped with Weilai Banyan intelligent system, combined with Aquila Weilai super-sensing system, plus 33 high-performance sensors and four NVIDIA DriveOrin X chips, the car-machine system performs well in terms of intelligence and playability. The interior of the car is also equipped with dynamic light waterfall ambient lights and an enhanced version of the 7.1.4 immersive sound system, which has a strong sense of atmosphere. In terms of seat configuration, the front seats support functions such as memory, cushion/backrest partition ventilation, heating, massage, and back soothing, and the comfort is still good.

In terms of power, the 2023 NIO ES8 is equipped with front and rear dual motors, the fastest acceleration from 0 to 100 is 4.1 seconds, and the pure electric battery life is 465km and 605km. The intelligent dual-chamber air suspension equipped with the whole vehicle supports a height adjustment range of 50mm downward and 40mm upward, a total of 90mm, which greatly improves driving comfort.
